Over the years, many seniors have shared that they cannot consume or would prefer different items in our annual holiday bags. In 2024 HNHBH made an adjustment to better meet seniors’ needs and preferences. Instead of our traditional holiday bag with fresh and canned fruit, and other food, we used our funds to increase the amount of our grocery gift card by $10 so seniors can purchase items that better meet their needs.

Sponsored seniors received a Hannaford’s grocery gift card along with two special holiday cards made by local school children and Karen’s McNall’s crafting group.
